Who is Sonjia Dickerson?
Prophetess Sonjia Dickerson is thankful to God for every opportunity she is given to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is a gifted speaker, author, gospel recording artist and Executive Pastor of the Dayspring Family Church located at 618 N. Belt Line Road in Irving, Texas, where her husband Bishop Kevin Keith Dickerson is Senior Pastor. She works faithfully with her husband blessing the people of God through word and song.
Sonjia Dickerson serves on various community boards and hosts and coordinates Outpouring Women’s Conferences and Gatherings in and outside of the state of Texas at which thousands of women have been saved, healed, encouraged, and set free.
The Lord has blessed Sonjia Dickerson to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies, and a Doctor of Ministry from Vision International University, and a Masters of Christian Leadership from Criswell College.
Sonjia Dickerson has a gift for providing meals for those in need. At Tarrant Area Food Bank, she established more than 20 after school feeding sites for at risk children which served more than 1600 children a hot evening meal. She also started the annual Thanksgiving Outreach at Dayspring Family Church which now supplies over 3000 families with a food box that feeds a family of seven. During the summer months, she leads a team that serves lunch to hundreds of children at risk for hunger in inner city apartment complexes.
Seeing the need to help high school graduates attend college, Sonjia Dickerson is the Founder and Executive Director of C.L.A.S.S., Inc. (Cultivating Leaders Achieving Scholastic Success). The program provides students with leadership development training and awards a monetary scholarship to each graduate. To date, 233 scholarships have been provided to students through C.L.A.S.S., Inc.
Pastor Sonjia has been voted Singing Pastor of the Year twice by KHVN Radio in Dallas, Texas and has five music projects available: Faith For The Journey, In His Presence, Continuously Praise, Word of God Speak, and The Best of Sonjia B. Dickerson-Music That Inspires.

She is a woman of humility, foresight, and capability, accompanied by a great love for God and speaks a sound word with a lively style that allows for the move of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Sonjia B. Dickerson is married to Bishop Kevin Keith Dickerson, her sweetheart. God has blessed their marriage with three beautiful children, Kevin Keith Dickerson II who is married to Dr. Chanté Dickerson, Cherese Dickerson Carter who is married to Pastor Rodney L. Carter Jr., and Faith Elizabeth Dickerson. God has also blessed them to become proud and grateful grandparents to three precious grandsons: Rodney L. Carter III; Kevin K.
