My mother would say "Don't you forget that fat meat is greasy!" I didn't understand exactly what she meant. But now I understand. What she really was doing was whittling me down to size. Just because you have a degree, or because you have this, or just because you have that doesn't mean that it all can't be taken away from you just like that. Don't get so secure in your successes that you think you are invincible. This is what Mordecai was telling Esther. You may be the Queen but you are still a Jew. Our fate is your fate. Mordecai challenged Esther to submit to the will of God. I challenge you! You must still give God the glory. You still must submit yourself to Him. Your money cannot buy your health. Your car cannot buy your peace. Your house cannot give you a good night's sleep. But it takes the power of God to right the wrongs and give you the peace you seek.
